Update: target reached 10 days before the campaign closing, thank you to all the donors! While 2,000 CHF is obviously a modest amount at the scale of the needs, I was very pleased that we could get together as a community and make this contribution. The draw for the prizes will take place on Wednesday May 4.
Needless to say, enjoying the history and beauty of Swiss watchmaking is a privilege. This is even more obvious nowadays with the tragic events taking place in a region we thought was freed from such horror.
As a modest contribution to the amazing work the Red Cross (and so many others) are doing to help in Ukraine and neighboring countries, I have put together a fundraiser, running until May 8th, supporting the Red Cross Emergency Assistance in Ukraine.
Beyond the obvious good reasons to donate…
1. The highest donor + an additional donor (randomly drawn among all donors, regardless of the amount) will each win a Bienne VIP Watch Tour for two.
How will the VIP Tour work?For each of the 2 winners, I will design an entirely bespoke experience of Bienne watchmaking, based on their interests and tastes. Valid for 2 people, it will take place over a full day. Details here
2. A donor (randomly drawn among all donors, regardless of the amount) will win my MoonSwatch “Mission to Mars”. As you can see in the picture above, it is effectively in unworn condition. This is a pretty special one, purchased on the day of launch at the Bienne Swatch HQ boutique. It comes with the original box and invoice. International shipping is included. And yes, in theory, a donor could win both the VIP Tour and the MoonSwatch…
